For you fans of Saturday Night Live unfortunately you’re going to have to wait until October 3 for new episodes but NBC released the names of the first three hosts of SNL’s 41st season. And for the most part there are no real surprises…except for one. SNL alum Tracy Morgan will make his return on the second episode of season 41 after a near life ending automobile accident in 2014 that left Morgan in critical condition and his friend and writer Jimmy Mack dead. After the brutal accident the funnyman basically said he was out of the business indefinitely. So it’s great to see him back doing what we love to see him do and that is make us laugh. The other two hosts announced were Miley Cyrus who will be emceeing the season premiere it’s her third time host of the show. Finally and no surprise to everyone “it girl” Amy Schumer will finally be hosting in the third episode of season. It should be fun to see her interact with the other funny women of Saturday Night Live. I’m pretty curious to see what this new season brings I have been pretty disappointed the last few seasons especially after Bill hader and Kristen wiig left. In my opinion theres just not enough talent and if it’s not that then the casts comedy styles don’t seem to mesh, resulting in an off tone in the comedy. The cast members have too many different styles and it seems no one is on the same page, which I’ve never been a problem for SNL The beauty of the show is that that is usually it’s strength. Michelle also let star power where used to seeing breakout star is like Will Ferrell, Jason Sudeikis, The aforementioned Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig, the list goes on and on. But it seems aside from Kate McKinnnon Taran Killiam Bobby Moynahan they give me that much to do and lately Cecily Strong no one else on the cast really stands out for impresses. So hopefully this next season they get everything working properly and the SNL machine can run smoothly at studio 8H once again.
