Liam Neeson To Star In Action-Comedy ‘The Revenger’

Oh, Liam. Are we really doing this again? For the past month or so, I’ve read article after article saying Liam Neeson, isn’t the man he once was and they have proof of this with before and after pics such as this one.

Clearly these were taken before and after Taken 3, I know because the same thing happened to me after watching it. I’m not gonna go so far as to say Liam is sick or even go so far as to say he’s lost a step. I just think he’s tired of doing the same thing over and over again. That much bullshit has to be exhausting, so I’m glad to report Mr. Neeson’s next film will not be an action film…it’s technically gonna be action comedy titled ‘The Revenger’. I know, I know, but give the man a break, he’s done the same thing for almost a decade. Those Luc Besson action flicks are like meth and I don’t mean that in a good way. They seem like tiresome, long shoots that slowly kill you both mentally and physically but the plus side are those beautiful, fat ass checks. I’ve never blamed the man for his career choices, but I did feel that it was time for something different and for Liam Neeson this is different. Granted he’s had small parts in comedies like, “A Million Ways To Die In The West”, LEGO Movie, and that sad, pointless cameo in “Entourage: The Movie”(yes people actually consider that shit a comedy). This will be the first comedy the aging tough guy has starred in probably since “Love, Actually”. The film will be written by two members of the RENO 911! think tank, Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant or as we know them, Lt. Jim Dangle and Deputy Travis Junior. Another interesting addition is Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer. No plot details have been released.
