Also, just to validate your review Korey Coleman, Moonlight won Best Film at the Gotham Awards so it’ll likely be a big contender this year too. http://www.thewrap.com/gotham-awards-2016-complete-winners-list-updating-live/
I had a chance to see Jackie and Loving at a film festival back in October. Both great movies :)
Really looking forward to seeing Manchester by the Sea at some point. I’ve heard nothing but good things about it.
Don’t get Teacup dogs, there’s a shitload of problems with them. The dogs are bred to the point where they have constant health problems and are extremely fragile. Korey and Mila are going to have nothing but heart ache.
I just saw Manchester by the Sea myself (it JUST NOW came out in Denmark) and I agree with Goodwin. They could’ve easily cut a whole hour from the film as the slow pace with scenes that did not go anywhere made me lose my patience. Granted, I was tired when I saw it, but a film taken place in a grey town with grey characters does not need to be two and a half hours to tell this story. 6/10.
