You guys ready for Korey G. to give shit review of Assassin Creed. Seriously Korey is a casual Assassin Creed fan at best. He should stop acting like he’s a die hard fan. He couldn’t even get the basic details right on A.C 2 on the first trailer review. Smh but he’s going to be the “Assassin Creed Expert”.

I can’t wait to hear what you have to say about Assassins Creed. Especially Goodwin.

    • Van

Goodwin’s gonna give AC a “Better Than Sex.”

    • Lowkey

I’m pretty sure Goodwin’s gonna say AC sucks. He’s had a hunch it did from the trailers and from what I’m hearing from Collider, Schmoes Know and Jeremy Jahns, he’s was right all along.

The BAFTA thing isn’t just about casting, but also in terms of having diversity in the production crew and higher positions like editor, DP, writer, etc.

It’s official. Video games will never be good movies. They really just should have cut all of the modern day bullshit out of the ‘Assassin’s Creed’ movie. You know what? Do that in the games too. Why can’t we just have Assassins running around and fighting the Templars in different historical eras without the Animus shit? I really think that plot line has run its course.

And in regards to ‘Sing’ is there any reason why they have to be animals in the movie? From what I can tell about the film, couldn’t it have just as easily been humans in the movie? I know it’s less gimicky and whimsical to have humans but a good movie like ‘Zootopia’ (I hate to bring up the comparison, but you just can’t help it, given the timing of this movie) explains why there are only animals in this world and it works exceptionally well! Unlike this apparently. Yeah, I’m probably with Martin on this one. It looks harmless but thoroughly uninteresting, like I expected from the trailer and advertisements.

To make some sense of why the eagle is featured in the film so much, it is supposed to be symbolic. In the game they explain that eagle offspring inherit their instincts from their decedents just like the assassins which is why the eagle is shown in present time and in the past. Unfortunately they do not put this analogy to good use in the film which is why the eagle makes no sense. Also the original assassin from the first game was called Altair. Altair means ‘bird of prey’, before he takes the leap of faith he spreads his arms like wings and you hear the eagle call.

As for the apple, it too is symbolic of original sin and corruption. Its supposed to represent the apple from Adam and Eve. Before they took a bite in to it they lived in harmony in the garden of Eden, this is why they keep saying it will ‘cure violence’.
