Ronda Rousey Wants To Be ‘Captain Marvel’ – The Daily Double Talk

So here’s the scenario you are movie executive and Ronda Rousey comes into your office and says hey I want to be captain marvel what do you say to that exactly, no? Well clearly you haven’t seen miss Rousey’s last few fights because no is not a word I think she hears very often.

She was recently asked on Reddit what superhero she would like to play and her answer was this:

“A lot of the good ones have been taken, but I’d like to vie for Miss Marvel!”

Now do I think Rhonda Rousey looks the part for Captain Marvel absolutely spot on in fact but do I think she has the acting chops to actually fill the role, absolutely not. Again I wouldn’t say this to her face, but girl has a long way to go. Although many were really taken aback by her screen charm in the expendables three, but after that charm just wasn’t enough we started to notice that Mrs. Rousey probably couldn’t act the way out of a paper bag. Her performance in furious seven was painful to watch, to be fair that was only when she opened her mouth. Recently I saw entourage the movie (I know I feel sorry for me too) and one thing really stood out and put the whole thing into perspective. That was the fact that is Rhonda has a hard time even playing herself. Now for those of you who know prince and has seen under the cherry moon then you know that motherfucker can’t act at all but you put him in purple rain when he’s playing himself and he somehow pulls it off same can be said about other musicians and athletes that have made the leap to the big screen. Luckily for Rhonda she will get a chance to have her purple rain with her autobiography my fight/ your fight being turned into a feature film actually starring her as herself so I’m actually very eager to be proven wrong. No word yet on that movie will going to production but Captain Marvel is set to be released sometime in 2018.
