Community Updates – v1.1

Hey toasties! We’ve upgraded your community area with a ton of new features and functionality based on the feedback we received from the initial launch. We’ve also updated some design elements to improve usability. Here’s a list of some of the features we’ve added​:

Notification Bar
We’ve added a new notification bar at the top of the site so you can quickly see if you’ve received any new messages, replies, or mentions.

Automatic Bump-To-Top
Anytime an update is commented on, it goes right back to the top of the comment stream.

Change Your User Name
Your user name is used for logging in and mentioning people in updates.

Updated User Profiles
Improved layout for user profiles are now available under the About tab for individual users. You can edit your own profile information under My Profile.

Personal Blogs
Write and publish reviews and articles with fellow toasties.

Toast (LIKE) Counters
Just like Facebook, we’ve added a LIKE feature called TOAST. If you LIKE something, TOAST it and watch the counter grow.

New Feed Format
Improved Friend and Group Activity Feeds

Edit Your Comments
Because you don’t always say it right the first time. You have a half hour to edit an update or comment.​

New Media Section
Photos – Uploaded photos now get organized in the Media area of your profile. Create albums and organize your photos as you like. Personal updates are automatically added to your profile while Group updates are collected under Group Media.​
Music – Upload music and create playlists

Post to Friends Wall
Post something on a friends wall by going to their profile and posting a message.

Improved Account Management
We’ve condensed your settings and account info into a single, more easily accessible space.
