Arnold Schwarzenegger Is The New Host of ‘Celebrity Apprentice’…Seriously

clevbArnie

Why do I feel like Arnold Schwarzenegger hasn’t checked the foreign box office numbers. Specifically the Chinese box office where his U.S. Dud, ‘Terminator: Genisys, has become a huge success. The reason I feel he’s totally oblivious to this information is because, it seems Arnie has decided to go to T.V. not for a gritty, action thriller on Netflix or FX but instead a reality show. He will be the new host of NBC’s popular reality show, ‘Celebrity Apprentice’, duties previously held by America’s new sweetheart, Donald Trump. The show had recently been entangled in controversy thanks to Trump and his comments about most Mexican immigrants being “rapists” NBC quickly cut ties with the Donald and his old ass toupee, leaving the show in limbo. In regards to the host NBC chairman Bob Greenblatt said on a recent tour that,”As soon as we settle on someone, we will get the word out, and something tells me it will be big news.”

Greenblatt wasn’t lying about that. Out of all the names you could of named Arnold Schwarzenegger is probably the last one I was expecting to hear. Now before you go saying Schwarzenegger threw in the towel on his career, he’s doing this for a very noble reason. He said in a statement about his new job,”I have always been a huge fan of ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ and the way it showcases the challenges and triumphs of business and teamwork, I am thrilled to bring my experience to the boardroom and to continue to raise millions for charity. Let’s get started!” He also tweeted the following:

Wow. I’m blown away and honored by all your tweets. I can’t wait to bring my experience to the board room & raise millions for charity.

It sounds like raising money for various charities was the main motivation for the Arnie’s decision to become the new boss on Celebrity Apprentice. That noble reason is the only reason I’m giving Schwarzenegger a pass on this one. The show still gives NBC very good numbers in the ratings and I’d expect those numbers to increase a great deal with Arnold’s arrival and lets be honest, he’s a way better choice than Donald fucking Trump.
