‘Legends Of Tomorrow’ Casts It’s Jonah Hex

If you know me than it should come as no surprise that I’m not AT ALL a fan of The CW/DC superhero shows. I like my superhero shows…less cheesy and I’m trying to be kind when I say that. In my opinion Arrow, The Flash and I even include Supergirl (which is on The CW’s father station CBS) are all pretty corny, not to mention the acting and dialogue are not all that good. The structure on some of those shows are good which is what I think keeps people watching week after week but overall I feel they lack what Netflix’s Marvel series have. That’s why the suits at The CW decided why not throw everything but the kitchen sink in their new DC series ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ which is basically a poor man’s, low-budget, half-assed Justice League. The show features such D-listers as: The Atom, Hawkgirl, White Canary, Captain Cold, and other heroes and villains you’ve never heard of. As with every group though you need a headliner and familiar name which this group doesn’t have. Enter Jonah Hex the cursed badass cowboy that fights evil in the wild west. Now you may remember Josh Brolin and Megan Fox starring in the big screen version of the hero…or maybe you don’t, that movie was a colossal bomb. Which is why DC thought it be best to throw him in the mix with the Legends of Tomorrow the show cast actor Johnathon Schaech as Jonah Hex and they even gave an official description on the character and how he plays into the series.

“A true legend of the Old West, a morally ambiguous gunslinger with a penchant for danger. Surprisingly, he knows a thing or two about time travel and the future, but is at home in the Wild West. He’s been battling outlaws and gangs for a while now, and advises the team to be extra careful when they arrive in the small town of Salvation.”
