MUST SEE: Netflix Drops The New ‘Jessica Jones’ Trailer!

Finally, the lame, 10 second motion graphics passing itself off as a teaser trailer is now a thing of the past. Netflix and Marvel finally gave us a real trailer for their upcoming TV series ‘Jessica Jones’ starring Krysten Ritter as the title character, Mike Colter as Luke “Power-Man” Cage and David Tennant as diabolical villain Zebediah Kilgrave/The Purple Man. After months of wondering what this fucking thing even looks like, we see all we need to in order get us all hyped. I must admit this was one Marvel property that I was in way excited for. I thought out of all the leftover series they could have developed into a show this one was the one I thought general audiences would care the least about.  She’s not a house hold name like Iron Man or Daredevil. But what she has going for is that she’s actually one of Marvel’s most interesting characters, she’s also, in my opinion one of their most relatable ones too. That will be what makes Jessica Jones a success, that and I’m sure David Tennant’s Purple Man who looks like he will be amongst one of Marvel’s best (which is a shortlist consisting only of Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin).  The trailer is amazing, it adds tension and an engaging plot with engaging characters. Critics are already falling in love with the series, early reviews have been very positive. Here’s the synopsis:

“Ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need… especially if they’re willing to cut her a check.”

‘Jessica Jones’ premieres November 20 on Netflix.
