Tracy Morgan In Talks To Be In Ice Cube’s “Fist Fight”

It’s nothing Americans love more than a triumphant comeback story and actor and comedian Tracy Morgan looks to be giving us just that. Morgan is in talks to team up with his ‘First Sunday’ co-star Ice Cube as well as ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ funnyman Charlie Day for the upcoming comedy ‘Fist Fight’.
The film is revolves around a quiet, cowardly school teacher played by Day, who finds himself in conflict with Cube’s character who challenges the little man to a school yard-esque type of fight. Morgan would play a coach at the school. Hopefully all goes well and we get to see Mr. Morgan being the comedic master we all know he can be. Besides that, if this is gonna be his first foray back into films it would be a smart one. Ice Cube’s track record is pretty damn good when it comes to comedies. Ride Along, 21 and 22 Jump Street, were all successful so hopefully that continues with this project, if for no other reason than to get Morgan so exposure in a successful film.
Morgan recently made a surprise appearance at the 2015 Emmy Awards that had everyone in the audience and at home on their feet. Morgan came out with a serious, stern demeanor as he thanked his family, friends, and fans for their support. He acknowledged that the past 15 months after he was involved in brutal automobile accident that left him in a coma for a total of eight days and his friend, Jimmy Mack, dead, has been the toughest time in his life. But even Morgan couldn’t resist a good joke, he proclaimed that he’s starting to feel like his old self and because of that he was gonna get every woman in the building pregnant…oh, Tracy glad to have you back brother.
